Using the Profile Menu: Profile, Password, Account Alerts & Logout
This article explains everything you can do from the Profile menu (bottom-left of your dashboard) — except Payment Methods (covered in a separate article). You’ll learn how to update your Profile, change your Password, manage Account Settings (email alerts), and Logout safely.
Where to find the Profile menu
Look at the bottom-left of your dashboard.
Click your name/avatar to open the menu.
What you’ll see: Profile • Reset Password • Payment Methods • Account Settings • Logout

Profile — update your name, email & avatar
Use Profile to keep your account details current. Your email here is used for receipts and alerts.
Steps
Click Profile in the Profile menu.
Update First Name, Last Name, and Email.
(Optional) Click the camera icon on the avatar to upload a profile image.
Click Save.

Notes & best practices
Use a email you check daily — it’s where we send order and security notifications.
If the Save button is disabled, make sure all Required fields are filled and the email is valid.
Recently changed your email? Check that alerts still arrive; if not, re-verify it’s correct here.
Reset Password — change your password securely
Use Reset Password any time you want to update your credentials.
Steps
Click Reset Password in the Profile menu.
Enter your Current Password.
Enter a New Password (8–12+ characters; use letters, numbers, and a symbol).
Confirm the new password.
Click Update Password.

Security tips
Choose a unique password you don’t use elsewhere.
Update it every few months, and any time you suspect account sharing.
If you can’t remember the current password, sign out and use “Forgot password” on the sign-in page to receive a reset link.
Account Settings — choose which emails you receive
Fine-tune your email notifications with simple toggles. Changes apply immediately.
Open: Profile menu → Account Settings
What you can enable/disable
Billing & Payments
Payment Issue Alert — Get notified about failed payments or billing problems.
Account & Security
Sign-In Alert — Email when there’s a sign-in from a new device/location.
Password Change Alert — Confirmation any time your password changes.
Payment Method Update Alert — When a card or payment method is updated.
Promotions & Offers
Discount & Sales Alert — Upcoming sales and discounts.
Special Offers Alert — Exclusive offers just for you.
Promotion & Offers Alert — General promos and news.
Feedback
Feedback Request — Occasional requests to share your experience.
Platform Updates
New Features Alert — Product updates and new capabilities.
Maintenance Alert — Scheduled maintenance windows.

Optional: Promotions & Offers, Feedback Request (keep on if you want updates and to help improve Pengine)
Logout — sign out safely
Use Logout when you’re done, especially on a shared computer.
What happens: Your current session ends immediately. If you have multiple tabs open, they may require you to sign in again.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
I don’t see the Profile menu.
Expand the left sidebar; reset browser zoom to 100%; refresh the page.My changes won’t save.
Confirm all Required fields are completed and the email is valid; then click Save again.I’m not receiving alerts.
Check Account Settings toggles, review your Profile email, and look in spam.Who can change these settings?
Owners/Admins can change all items. Other roles may have limited access.
